Gloria scrimped, she saved, she worked very hard tending her crops and competing in equestrian competitions. At last she had enough simoleons saved to build a house. She no longer has to live inside a garden shed.

Cut for screens:

The exterior. Like Aeronwen and Neldor's home, this is based on my real life house (though mine is not blue). For now Gloria only has the ground floor. That's all she could afford and that's really all she needs since she, her cat, and the dog are the only ones who live there. When she's built her funds back up she'll add some lilacs around the front of the house and some cherry trees in the corners of the property.

The dining area and kitchen. She doesn't have the highest quality appliances yet, but that's next on the list. Along with a better stove and fridge, she's going to replace the current counters and cabinets with some nicer looking ones.

Her new bedroom. She did some splurging and got a new bed since her old one often gave her the "Bad Night's Sleep" moodlet. She also bought a computer so she can finally write at home rather than going to the library or the coffeehouse. Another item she splurged on was the auto-cleaning litter box which is in the bathroom.

Since she doesn't have the upper floor she has to work on her paintings in the living room, but there's enough space for the easel. Normally she takes her paintings to the consignment shop, but I think I'll have her keep the one she's working on. It's very pretty and the house walls need some decorations.

Lastly, here's a screen of Gloria and Faith wearing some of the western stlye goodies that I downloaded from Sugars Legacy Stables. Now if only someone would make a nice cowboy hat on long thick wavy hair. That would complete the outfit. I really don't like the cowboy hat and hair selections that came with the game. The hat is too narrow and the long hair option is too straight.

When I was downloading the chaps I got both the male and female versions. When I saw Robin outside his house I grabbed him with the Master Controller and dressed him in a set of chaps, boots, and a button down shirt that is open to the upper chest and....uhh...damn. Just damn. Quite the eye candy that Gloria has living across the street.

Perhaps I should have my Bosmer males dressed in the chaps as well. Thorinor could model them for Sarasvati and see what she thinks.

Anyway, now Gloria Woods is living in an actual house. Her lot isn't finished yet but it's becoming the prettiest place in Appaloosa Plains. So take that, Johnny Johnson, you arrogant snot! How do you like Gloria's "Little Outhouse on the Prairie" now?

Edited to add: I know more about using Build Mode now than I did when I made Aeronwen and Neldor's house. Plus I have more items from Store Sets. After giving the matter some thought, I think I'm going to tear the Grahtwood House down, rebuild it from the ground up and use items from the Faire Folk and Once Upon a Cottage sets to make the place look less modern and more "Wood Elfy". They have been raking in the money and even have six money trees in their garden, so they can easily afford the renovation.
