I Knew She Was Going to Do This

The household (renamed to Winters for this play-through) has been in Appaloosa Plains for three nights, and each night Faith has come into the tent to sleep with the rest of the family. The amusing thing is, in the last game she rarely wanted to sleep in her stall, preferring to nap in the paddock. But here, she has a whole nearly empty lot to stretch out in and she wants to sleep in the tent.

On another note, I've given myself some permission regarding the pretty blue house from the previous game. I decided that when Gloria has earned a little more money than the finished house is worth, I will briefly evict the household to the game's clipboard, bulldoze the lot to remove what is there now, place the completed house, and then move the household from the clipboard and back into the lot. Her savings will then be used to buy the house so it will be almost the same as her spending her funds for it to be built.

The one thing that got a "Yikes" out of me when when I checked the house library to see what the blue house is worth; a little over 80,000 simoleons. That's what she needs to earn. At the moment she only has a little over 240.

Oh well, she earned that amount before. She can do it again. I didn't give her a single simoleon to help her along in the previous game. She earned every bit of it from farming, equestrian competitions, writing books, and selling her artwork. She just planted her garden. Once those vegetables grow and are ready to be harvested her household funds will expand fairly fast.

Faith is just horsing around.

That's a good idea for the blue house.
