Another Stork is Coming to New Ascadia
You will not guess who the next expectant parents are. Before we get to the news, here is a screenie of Aeronwen and Neldor enjoying a quiet evening in their newly redecorated home, watching a show on their wall-mounted Dwemer-made television set.
Now the evening news:
Stop by and welcome the latest addition to Eldafire's family; Nashira. The lovable little kitten has been adopted by the family.
(When I checked in on Eldafire's household to make sure that they had everything the kitten would need I saw that the kitten is already on Best Friends Forever level with the Eldafire and the children.)
Due to his unpopular nature, Master Neloth and Master Aryon have been drifting apart lately.
(Drifting apart? When were they ever close?)
They sure make a lovely couple. Tauryon and Eldafire continue to be inseparable, holding hands on the boardwalk the other day.
(As long as he stops being a mooch and earns an honest living I don't see anything wrong with the match.)
Romance is in the air for Yanna and Engaer as they were seen parading their newfound affections all over town.
(Well, I didn't see that coming. Does this mean that Yanna is no longer messing around with Tureynul?)
Ah, love seems to be eternal. Master Aryon was seen recently stealing a peck on the cheek from Saje Eldros. "Ah..." swooned a close friend.
(I bet the "swooning close friend" was Crassius.)
Whoa! Guess who's got a bun in the oven! Yanna and Engaer should have been a bit more careful.
(...I'm not sure what to say about this, other than "Yikes!")
"I just can't help myself. It's a compulsion," moaned Yanna. "I see something I want, like that beautiful riding saddle, and I just need to possess it. Amaryllis just doesn't seem to understand, standing in my way like that, stopping me."
(Azura and Y'ffre help Yanna's baby.)
On checking Yanna and Engaer's relationship status, I see that they are only at "Romantic Interest" with each other. Not Boyfriend/Girlfriend. So I don't know what having a baby means for their future, if anything. It's looking like this was just a careless casual fling.
Edited to add: I noticed that Yanna's mood was "Angry", so I took a closer look to see why. It turns out that she is still hung up over Tureynul. He's the one Yanna wants, but he is not faithful. So in anger she got together with Engaer, not even realizing that Tureynul doesn't care if she gets together with someone else. And that is the reason she is now pregnant.

At times the game really perplexes me. Besides Aryc and Amaryllis, there are six other married couples, and the game chooses Yanna to have the next baby.
