During the night Nerst sent out this broadcast:
"Engaer is now a father. Yanna has given birth to a baby girl named Rillisa."
Y'ffre and Azura help that little girl. Her mother is 100% unfit. Engaer might be a somewhat better parent, but he doesn't strike me as being as ready for the role as Aryc and the other married mers. When I moved the camera over to Yanna and Constance's home I saw little Rillisa lying on the ground outside the front door. Engaer was at work (not that he lives there. He still lives with Neloth), Constance was at school, and Yanna was...playing a guitar in the park.
At the end of the day Engaer was at Stonehenge Coffee chatting with someone on his Dwemer-made laptop and Yanna was at the tavern where she was still angry about Tureynul being unfaithful. Constance came home from school and brought Rillisa inside the house. She changed the baby's diaper, gave her a bottle, and cuddled Rillisa for a bit before placing the baby into the crib. Constance then did her homework before going to bed.
Thank goodness for Constance.

Someone needs to notify child services. Constance can't be expected to take care of Rillisa. She's still a kid herself. Incidentally, I noticed when I looked at Constance's relationship window that she considers Aeronwen her closest friend, which is a little sad since they haven't actually interacted all that often. Aeronwen, Neldor, Sarasvati and Thorinor all rank higher with Constance than Yanna, whom she lives with.
It still perplexes me that the game had Yanna have the next baby when there are quite a few married couples in the world. Sure, I can always use the Pregnancy Controller mod to make the married couples start having their children, but I want to hold off a while longer before doing that. If the game doesn't choose any of the couples, then I will indeed step in and use the mod, starting with Acacia and Darkfell so they can have their son.

Yeah, that is a weird story progression. The game must be focused on drama.

I like the game, but I see that it can't be given too much free reign, especially with established characters who we care about like the Elder Scrolls crew. Otherwise it takes them off in wild directions where the characters normally would not go.

I've noticed in forums a lot of people play the game for that kind of stuff. And things like the 100 baby challenge.
