I feel so stupid for not noticing that there is a way to block pregnancies in the NRaas Store Progression settings. The path is NRaas - Story Progression - Sim. About midway down the list are the settings that pertain to pregnancy. It's a simple matter to set Allow Pregnancy to Disallow for females and to set Pregnancy, Allow Participation to Disallow for males. The thing is I remember seeing those settings when I was making changes to keep unfit characters from adopting pets. It just didn't enter my mind to make some changes to keep unfit sims from having children. It should have, but it didn't.

Anyway, I went into map view so I could see everyone's tags, then edited the settings for all of the unmarried Sims. Now the next time the game decides it's time to bring in another baby, it will have to choose one of the married couples. I wish I had done this before Yanna became pregnant, but what's done is done. I changed Yanna's settings so she won't have any more children.

On another note, here is a screenie of Sifina that I took when I saw her with her zebra at the horse training grounds:

The zebra is one animal that is not mentioned anywhere in the Elder Scrolls lore, which means we can head-canon it wherever we want. I say that it goes very well with Valenwood Bosmers and with Ashlanders. The Grazelands may not be a huge region, but I can easily visualize small herds of zebras moving through there.

And a bit of news; Aeronwen was riding into down to finalize the purchase of Stonehenge Coffee when a couple of firetrucks went through town. Wondering what had happened, I had the camera follow the trucks and saw that Skink in Tree's Shade's house was on fire. I was worried that one of the town residents had decided to become an arsonist, but then while Aeronwen was at City Hall, this news came over the airwaves:

Odros Dagoth's attempt to juggle flame fruits went awry recently when he accidentally set Skink in Tree's Shade's Towering Barstool on fire. "I mean really...Do they not make those things fire proof? Well, they should. Look at how dangerous they are!"

So we can all breath easy. There is no serial arsonist in New Ascadia. The fire was a hopefully one-time accident that was caused by one of Odros' not-so-clever antics.
