The current group of wild horses in Appaloosa plains consists of three foals and one mare (and she is not the mother of any of them). While in town I saw the three foals chasing each other back and forth between the buildings and around the pool.
It's tempting to try to tame them and raise them up, but Gloria already has too much to do. Plus it's too easy to get attached to the foals and not want to sell them when they are grown and trained. She already tamed one wild mare and trained it up and it was ridiculously difficult to take the mare to the equestrian center to sell her.
As of the the seventh day of the third week Gloria earned enough money to at last build up her house and the barn. Although I have a copy of the place saved in the library, I ended up rebuilding by using screenshots because I didn't want her to loose her garden which contains high quality crops, including nine (yes, nine) Perfect quality money trees. Every money seed tree spawned right there in her lot. The Sim gods apparently favor her.
In New Ascadia I'm getting ready for Aeronwen and Neldor to host their Harvest End/Tale & Tallows party. At first I was thinking of having them hold it at Fiddler's Green, but I think it will be more fun and more personal to invite everyone to Rosewood. They have enough room to set up tables of food, a bar, and games. They just need to get to one of the few days of the week when all of their friends and relatives are off from work.
It's very tempting to have them invite the grouches just to see what happens, but I think it's best to stay in character and only invite those whom Aeronwen and Neloth would be inclined to invite. They don't want Neloth picking fights with the other guests....although it would be hilarious if Neloth got into a knock-down drag-out fight with Charles the Evil Chicken.

Aw, come on, don't you want grumpy ole Grouches at the party? They will only eat everything and endlessly complain when they aren't insulting others, lol.

Oh gosh I just realized that Odros and Crassius will see the money trees, which are the only plants left in the garden. Like Gloria, Aeronwen and Neldor have nine of them; basically a small orchard of money trees.
Odros: *to Crassius* "Look at them. Every inch of every branch is loaded with money. I've...I've never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life. I almost feel like taking up gardening."
