An argument recently broke out between Master Neloth and former Queen Mother Barenziah while browsing the wide selection of baked goods at the Rose Garden Bakery and Cafe. Witnesses aren't certain about what brought on the fight but it's believed that Neloth became angry when he saw Barenziah about to purchase the last slice of pecan pie that was in the display case. Apparently the Imperial employee of the bakery neglected to tell Neloth that more pecan pies had just come out of the ovens and were about to be available for purchase.
Now a bit of news:
Godonir Black Claw's rather vain attempt to ambush the lcoal Helsing Darkfell was met with fierce resistance. The wolf barely escaped with his fur intact when the brave mer pulled a sword and valiantly defended himself against a near endless pack of wolves.
(Way to go Darkfell! It's about time someone gave Godonir a hard kick in the can!)
Apparently being part of an exclusive club means you have the right to put down everyone outside of the inner circle. Morgana le Hex is using this to full effect, making enemies of non-member Vendyne Fire-Flower.
(Be careful, Morgana. Vendyne may not be very tall, but she's scrappy. I'm sure she could mop the floor with you.)
"Stupid vampire, let this be a lesson to you! We know your weaknesses and are prepared for you," remarked Anaril of Sunhold while standing over top of the semi-concious form of Verandis Ravenwatch. "The next time you want to tangle with a vampire hunter, just remember what happened this day."
(Considering that Vernadis is an ancient vampire, managing to beat him up is quite an accomplishment, even by an experienced Champion knight.)
Townsfolk reported a fight between town thug Godonir Black Claw and local mer Master Neloth. An onlooker said that there was "no obvious reason for the attack. I think Godonir was just looking to make trouble."
(Funny how no one in law enforcement bothered to jump in and break up the fight. It's as if they wanted Neloth and Godonir to pulverize each other.)
"Just to be safe...Don't want to keel over or anything," commented Master Neloth after a friend spotted him heading over to the walk-in clinic. "I was pretty bruised after that fight."
(*checks map* Yep, Neloth is in the hospital. I imagine that he's a terrible patient who runs the nurses ragged. However, he would probably cheer up quite a bit if Sarasvati were to send him a big bouquet of flowers and a get-well card.)
"Don't be a fool. Just give me the $2,056 and we won't start busting up the place. Got it?" Godonir Black Claw was heard to say while visiting with Tanor the Sleaze. It appears that Tanor has been falling behind on his payments to the local crime lord.
(Again, no one seems to want to get involved, preferring to let the slime of the town possibly destroy each other.)
