Just one more Moonlight Falls related entry before I load up my Pelagiad save and have life proceed there (mental note: reset the town. It needs it).
It's Sunday night in Moonlight Falls and Gloria has a busy day tomorrow, with her classes running from 8Am to 6PM. So the garden will be entirely in the hands of her loyal farmhand that day. She herself will take care of milking the cow and feeding the chickens before she goes to her first class. She will also take care of the honeybees in the evening when she comes home so Cody doesn't have to worry with that. He just needs to run the garden composter, gather the produce that's ready to be harvested and upgrade the rest of the windmills.
Shortly after dinner Gloria gave James her "maintain friendship" call. When the call was concluded James' picture appeared in Gloria's thought bubble and remained there for quite a while. How can this guy be so clueless? No wonder his parents want to smack him.

While Gloria was on the phone with James, Cody was upgrading the water trough so that it auto-fills. I know this is just a trick of the lighting and the way his face is shaped, but I thought he looked kind of pissed. Like he was thinking, Why does she waste time on that pipsqueak James? He doesn't make any effort at all. Even his own parents think he's clueless.

Something that amused me even more was around 2AM (the inactives keep really odd hours), I saw a cluster of sims at the horse ranch: James, his horse, Arthur, Gwen, and James' parents Kendall and Kathleen. It was like there was an intervention going on and none of the parent sims seemed happy with James;
Arthur: "James, you know that Gwen and I have always been fond of you. You and Gloria have grown up together and have been good friends since grade school. We've considered you a member of the family, but I have to say...if Gloria's farmhand gets...cozy...with her...we're going to blame you."
Kathleen: "Why don't you give Gloria a call and invite her out to see a movie and then perhaps dinner at the Bistro?"
James: "Gloria owns the theater and the bistro. She can go there for free. Why would she want me to offer to take her there for a show and a meal?"
Kathleen: *bursts into frustrated tears*
Gwen *trying to be patient* "When was the last time you paid her a compliment?"
James: "What? Is this more about telling her she's pretty? She has mirrors. Doesn't she know she's pretty?"
Arthur: *clenches his fists* "It's just that the more her farmhand helps her, and the less attentive you are, the more attractive Cody could become to her."
Kendall: "James, if that 'handy-wolf' starts sowing his seed, don't you come crying to us."
James: *laughs* "Oh, it's not his job to plant anything in the garden. He's just supposed to gather what's ripe on the days that Gloria has to attend classes."
*silence for a long moment*
Gwen: (to James' parents) "I'm so sorry to say this, but your son is too dumb for my daughter."
Kendall: "We know....Believe me, we know."
Kathleen: *sobs* "It's over! It's all over! My dream of having beautiful grandchildren with brown hair and blue eyes is going up in smoke!"
Kendall: *puts his arm around Kathleen's shoulder* "If by some miracle our boy gets a clue before it's too late, I pray to the Builder that our grandchildren get their brains from Gloria!"
James: "Get their brains from Gloria? Are you suggesting that I would have zombie children? First you mention werewolf children and now zombies. Why do you think I would have such weird kids?"
Arthur *throws his hands up* "I give up!"
Gwen: "So do I."
Kendall: *angry* "If it weren't for Gloria you would still be a toad and eating flies! She took a crash course in alchemy to help you, and you can't even be bothered to pick up the phone and call her! Shame on you!"
*The two sets of parents leave the ranch*
James: *to his horse* "Why do they always make me feel like I'm missing something?"
*the pinto cocks an ear back and gives James the side-eye.*
My word, James isn't even employed even though there are no restrictions on these sims with getting jobs. He's just living off the earnings he gets from equestrian competitions.
Now back to Pelagiad, where James' Bosmer counterpart Neldor has to regularly be sprayed with ice water because he can't keep his hands off Aeronwen. In fact I had to adjust the settings on the master bedroom door so that only Aeronwen can go in there because Neldor is impatient to woohoo.

LOL! Ashara really showed her cards in that moment.
I'm almost tempted to remove James from cache lock-down just to see how fast he wrecks his life even more by messing around with the Town Bike and the other bed-hoppers. He might even get one or more of them pregnant which would make his poor mother cry even more. Like you said, it probably wouldn't take the game any time at all to make James start sleeping around.

Morgana: "What's the matter? Am I not dippy enough?"
It might be worth it to let James off the leash just to see what he does.
I admit that I'm curious. If I do that, I'll make sure to create a new save prior to removing James from the cache so I have the option of going back if I choose. So James wrecking his life would just seem like a bad dream. LOL
