Since Oblivion seems to be set up and working (after three weeks of fighting with it) I set up a brand new save for when I want to start Aeronwen's game. I imported her face from an old save but decided I wanted to see if I could soften her look a little. So I made a copy of the save, imported the face of Tanilay the Hidden Elf, then I went back into character creation to change her eye and hair color. Finally I changed her from a Hidden Elf to a Courtesan, so she kept the facial structure but lost the tattoo around the eyes. Now I'm not sure which version of her face to use and welcome the input of others who have gotten to know her.
Both faces are pretty. I'm just not sure which one is "the most her". The one on the left side is the face I made and have used in her previous games. The right side is the one that was made using Tanilay. The Tanilay one seems a little softer, which I like, but I feel like the original face has more of a "mother lion" look to her; a little more "no nonsense".

Now that I'm looking at the side by side comparison I guess I'm leaning more toward her original face. The new face is very pretty, no doubt about it, but it seems like it's lacking something.

Oh how true that is. The Hidden Elves are nice and certainly look better than the vanilla races, but I've spent an annoying amount of time trying to get characters look like the ones I see in screenshots and it just doesn't happen no matter how much I adjust the settings.
