This morning I decided to try the Arise, Watcher! The Sims Medieval Music for TS3 which adds medieval style music from the Sims Medieval game. At first I didn't think it was working because the game played the normal music when I started it up, but after a few minutes it switched over and started playing the medieval music whenever I went into map view and Build/Buy mods. The mod also adds a medieval station to the radios, though I don't know why anyone would want to listen to anything other than Nerst's gossip, I mean local news station.
Now the random screenies. Neldor and Aeronwen finished tending the garden a little earlier than normal due to the fact that it's now late in the summer season and some of their plants are reaching the end of their lifespan. There is just enough time to plant new ones and grow some more produce before the garden goes dormant for the winter. Having some extra free time meant that Aeronwen and Neldor were able to go out and visit different places around town and see their neighbors.
At the dog park they saw newlyweds RiData and Rabinna. Watching them makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, unless you're a stick in the mud like Neloth and Gilvoth. Or indifferent like Vemyn and Therana.

The next stop was the horse training ring which I have placed in the large lot that was once occupied by "The Big House" (owned by the O'Connell family). I love seeing how many of the characters bring their horses here and make use of the facilities. At the time of this screenshot, Basnik was there riding his horse Snicker around the race training course while Sifina was training her zebra on the beginner jumping course.

From the training center they went to Stonehenge Coffee. Neldor and Aeronwen are seriously considering buying the coffeehouse, figuring that it would be a nice source of income during the winter and early spring seasons when they will not be harvesting any fresh produce from their garden. While there Aeronwen got to see and chat with Acacia. The sisters often chat on the phone...err...I mean, communicate with their small rectangular telepathy...things...but rarely get to see each other in person (due to work). During the day Acacia works at the school.
I just noticed the picture of the Oddity Bunny on the nearby wall. Those things are kind of creepy.

Lastly, there was an unexpected person at Fiddler's Green. Dagoth Vemyn came out of his hole after being horrified by the images of adorable playing kittens that Amaryllis showed him. He doesn't exactly look comfortable. I guess the Fiddler's Green isn't is sort of place.

I don't know where Therana was but it's just as well that she wasn't there. She and Vemyn tend to create scenes whenever they are out in public together.
Late in the afternoon Neldor and Aeronwen went to the theater to see a show, and that's when they were when I had to leave the game for a while. I suppose after the show they will go over to the festival grounds, do some roller skating, then decide what they want to do for dinner.
Even though the day isn't over there and will likely be more broadcasts, here is the news that Nerst has sent out so far:
Arrille recently showed his prowess on the chess field after defeating Vendyne Fire Flower with ease. Both sides appeared to have been in high spirits afterward, shaking hands and comparing play notes. "No hard feelings, here. There is always next time...when I intend to crush that fiend!"
(This is what we call wholesome community news.)
"Okay, I'll hand it to Arrille; he can throw a mean punch," commented Master Neloth while attempting to staunch a rather bloody nose. "But the next time, he better watch himself, because everyone knows I don't play fair."
(Arrille, I underestimated you.)
"I just wanted to see the pretty colors dancing, dancing all around me," sighed Shakes Her Spear after setting fire to Tureynul Dagoth's Impossible Mission Overhead Cabinet. "And then they snuffed them out. How rude!"
(I thought I heard sirens. This is why a roadless world can be problematic. You never know when a sim might decide that it's fun to burn down someone else's lot.)
"I was just admiring my XS 4258 Laptop and turned away for a second and then it as gone!" Mistress Therana reported to the police. "I cannot imagine how the Cat was able to cart it off so quietly! She is very crafty, that one!"
(Yanna probably distracted Therana with spiders.)
And this is just what was happening during the day. After sunset things really get wild.
