I nearly dropped my coffee when I saw him sitting there holding the cup that way and taking careful, elegant sips.
The Sims has always had some problems with the AI of inactive characters being wonky - it reminds me of how the sims 2 needed a mod to stop your dorm-mates in university from starving themselves to death by accident!
I've read some blogs of people who regularly rotate through the households in their worlds and they often complain how the inactives don't really take care of themselves or each other and their relationships go to hell when they're not being watched.
