The unexpected story of Granny Sarah lusting over the Big Bad Wolf continues. This is one of the funniest stories I've ever seen evolve in a game. It was another day of Gloria having a full day of classes at the university so it was Cody's job to harvest the produce from the garden and get it to the grocery store. Once that chore was done he headed over the gym. He has the Athletic trait so he often wants to work out.
He was in the process of pumping iron when she entered the gym.
Granny Sarah spent some time standing right in front of Cody and stretching as though she were trying to show him how limber she is.
Sarah: "Don't let these wrinkles and gray hair fool you. I'm everything a Big Bad Wolf could want."
After stretching, she got onto one of the treadmills and began running. I know Cody's expression is just a result of him lifting weights, but nonetheless it makes him look like he's not all that thrilled to see Gloria's granny again.

Before long Sarah adjusted the settings on the treadmill so she could work out even harder, and we can see exactly what, or perhaps I should say who, her inspiration is.

This does not look like a man who is feeling at ease with his surroundings.

Eventually when they were both done using the exercise machines, Sarah walked over to Cody to chat with him. Once again she became flirty which resulted in Cody yet again getting the Creeped Out moodlet. He soon left the premises, choosing to use the shower in his barn-loft apartment rather than the ones at the gym.
At this time Gloria was attending her "Quantitative Models in Economics 302" class, but considering how many witnesses there were at the gym, I would image that she'll hear about this. She'll have to pay Granny another visit.
Sarah: "Hello, dear! Have you come with a basket of goodies?"
Gloria: "No! I'm here to tell you yet again; Leave. Cody. Alone!"
Sarah: "But what big biceps he has!"
Normally I would adjust Sarah's story progression settings so she couldn't behave like this, but this twisted take on Little Red Riding Hood, with Granny lusting for the Big Bad Wolf who gets creeped out and hot-foots it away from her, is just too funny.
Edited to add: I just noticed that although I haven't made any further changes to Cody's traits, he seems to be behaving more...civilized. Just now he paid a visit to Varg's Tavern and quite of few fellow werewolves were there and scratching up the furniture. On his own he went around and told each of them "Stop doing that", and they obeyed.
He also now has wishes that involve science and astronomy. I think that came from the fact that he has not only been playing chess with Gloria in the evenings, but she has let him look through the telescope on her balcony. Now he has a wish to attend the university, possible to get a degree in science.
Perhaps when Gloria is done earning her own degree and then has plenty of time to tend to farming chores, she will likely encourage Cody to go for further schooling if he wishes. I can't see her kicking him off her lot once she's no longer busy with earning her Fine Arts degree.
It's always interesting to see characters change and evolve.

It's weird because I don't see a lot of older man chasing young girls. Or maybe I just don't notice it. It seemed like all the men went after Sarasvati. While she wanted none of them. Not until a certain Bosmer shows up, that is.

I've seen it happen in Moonlight Falls with Pappy Wolf and the old guy in Appaloosa Plains. In both cases the older men messed around with the Town Bike.

Date: 2025-05-09 09:09 pm (UTC)From:I question why so many babies in this game have single parents and their parents keep hopping around.
This is something that was a disappointment to me; the sims don't seem to realize that they are parents and that such behavior is not good for their children.
At least Therana and Vemyn are married and doting on their precious darling daugher, even as we figured they would be the most unlikely and terrible parents there is.
I'm really surprised at how easy it is for me to now imagine them as parents. Still wacky of course, but I can image everything from them squeeing over their daughter's first steps to parent-teacher meetings at the school.

Oh, yes. Their little bundle of joy. I had a thought of how Vemyn would be. You think Therana will be bad, if little Demith gets upset over anything, Vemyn would be demanding that his daughter be treated like a princess. No one upsets his daughter! She's going to be spoiled and I can see the other parents silently looking at each other each time there is an upset.
Ashara *whisper*: "You should have seen them the other night when Therana brought Demith over to Kogoruhn to play with Casimir and Sansara, because they are Demith's closest cousins."

This is when Voryn closes his eyes and rubs his temples with his fingertips, because he knows that talking to Vemyn about this will be like talking to a brick wall.

Poor Voryn. Of course Ashara would cast a discrete Calm spell on Demith to calm her down so she can have real fun.

Vemyn and Therana show up at Voryn and Ashara's home:
Vemyn: "We need to talk! While playing a game on the playground, your children told our precious princess that she...she had to wait her turn!"
Voryn: *tiredly* "Well, games have rules, and the children all need to learn to follow them."
Vemyn: "The rules don't apply to our princess! She is above the rules!"
