All of Gloria's hard work has paid off and she's now finished with her university classes. At first I thought there was a bug due to using a homeworld university and she met with a dead end because her Education tab suddenly went blank and then I thought, "Now what?" But then I just had her go about her day, doing farm chores, and then messages regarding her degree began to trickle in.
First came the message that she received her final report card (She got an A). Then came the message that she has now has all of the required credits (48/48) to earn her Fine Arts Degree. Finally a message popped up saying that the graduation ceremony would take place the following day and she was welcome to invite her family and friends. She called her parents, siblings, grandparents, and James and they all said they would be happy to attend. It's a little sad that her paternal grandparents have already passed on since Gloria was closer to them than her maternal grandparents.
I haven't played through the day of the ceremony yet, but based on what I've read it works the same way as the high school graduation; the sims go into the rabbit hole, you wait a while, and then when they come out the graduate as the diploma/degree in their inventory.
Although Gloria doesn't have the actual degree in her inventory yet, she already has the perks that come with it. With her education finished I had her go to City Hall to register as a self employed painter. In the vanilla game the degree don't give a benefit to self employed careers, but they do if you install NRaas Careers with the Academic add-on. So when she registered she immediately shot right up to Level 5 of the Painter career and received $500 simoleons.
Here she is after selling the day's produce to the grocer; Artist, Writer, Gardener, Business Woman. The rest of the day is hers.

Now, what to do about her farmhand now that Gloria is able to tend to everything herself. Like I said in the previous entry, I can't see her just walking up to Cody and telling him to hit the road now that she no longer had classes to attend. At the same time I'm not sure there is enough work for the two of them on her farm. So this will just be a play-by-ear and just see what sort of vibe I get off the characters. As far as I know, there is no "Ask Household Member to Move Out" wish.
I do seem to recall Gloria getting a "Move" wish while she was a teenager, but of course at that time it couldn't be fulfilled because, well, she was a teen and underage. And thus far Cody has not had the "Move" wish. No big surprise there since he has a really nice apartment (he always gets the Beautifully Decorated moodlet) and he likes his landlady.
One way to roleplay this is figure out what other work would suit Cody and imagine that he continues to rent the loft apartment. Sooner or later he'll likely start to get career and skill line wishes that will give me more of an idea of what to do with him. He has Athletic and Handiness skills maxed and he is raising his Logic skills. I'll have him read some Science books and see what wishes that opens up.

If I do move him out and have him go back to being inactive, I don't think I'll put him back in the house that he was originally sharing with four other werewolves. Every time he sees them on community lots he seems to get annoyed with them. I have some empty lots near the gypsy wagon, so Cody would probably be happier with his own cabin out there, perhaps with a wolf pet.
For now I won't make any big changes in the game since we're leaving for Yellowstone on Monday and hopefully will only be gone for two weeks. After that point the area becomes flooded with tourists. Both of my games have hit milestones (Aeronwen and Neldor getting married, and now Gloria finishing her schooling), so it's at a good place for a pause.
I'll play in Moonlight Falls this weekend, but again, no big changes like moving Cody out for now. I'll just watch his wishes and see what pops up. It's times like this when characters can surprise us with developments we never saw coming.

Gilvoth: "F! An F for all of you! You're nothing but a crow of morons!"
Neloth: "I don't know why we waste our time on inferior specimens such as you. You are all failures. Miserable failures. And the food here is lousy, too!"
