Not long ago I stared a secondary game, one with a single human character, in Appaloosa Plains. When setting up the game I installed all of the "Personality" mods that work with Nraas Story Progression. I guess when I read that the add-ons add "personalities" I was thinking of Traits, but what those mods do is create factions and assign leadership of the factions to a Sim within the world. And with all of them installed, the world really started popping with stories and made Appaloosa Plains feel even more alive. Hence the reason for my mention of Restartitis in this post's title. Seeing how lively the mods made Appaloosa plains makes me want to load my first save for Dragon Valley (New Ascadia) and have that world start over with the NRaas stories playing out in it.
A nice thing about the Story Progression settings is that you can make adjustments to allow households that you've added to the world to take part in these stories or keep them out of it.
Anyway, to the more simple secondary game I have going in Appaloosa Plains.
Gloria Woods is indeed "Aeronwen with blue eyes and without elf ears", and favors the color blue rather than lavender. She arrived in Appaloosa Plains with her horse, cat, and dog, all of which have "palomino pinto" colored coats.

In Aeronwen's game I gave her and Neldor a large "inheritance" so they could buy the already built hobby farm on the largest and nicest of Dragon Valley's lots. With Gloria, she is just using the default amount of money that the game gave her when she arrived. She was able to buy the largest lot that's south of the main town and used the remainder of her funds to set up a small camp in the northwestern corner of her property. She will build a hobby farm gradually as she earns enough money to do so.

At this time her camp consists of a tent, outhouse, and a small shed. One side of the shed contains a stall for her horse Faith. The other part contains a small galley type kitchen, a tiny chest of drawers, and her artists easel. This is also where she has placed her pets' food dishes, bed, toys, and scratching post (the cat's litter box is outside near the horse stall). There is a dog house as well as a couple of bales of hay along the side of the shed.

Along with the Woods family, I added a few other custom households to the world as people that Gloria could possibly be friends with. One is Allison Flowers, who was made using Alandis as a base (so again, I changed her ears to rounded rather than pointed and made her features a little less elvish). Along with a standard sized golden poodle, I gave Allison this beautiful buckskin Appaloosa mare: Star Queen.
Down the road from Gloria's lot I added a male Native American with a wolf/husky type dog and a slate gray mustang named Cloud. Finally, right across the road from the Woods lot is a fellow who strongly resembles a young Robin Zander (Yeah I did that, and I'm not sorry. LOL).
After Gloria got settled into her camp I had her go to the library to read some skill books on Cooking, Gardening, and Handiness (so she can make repairs around the farm herself rather than calling a repairman). While she was reading I noticed her across-the-road neighbor was downstairs reading as well. It was temping to have her go down and introduce herself, but the character had no reason for doing so. Since they haven't seen each other around their homes they don't know that they're neighbors. Ah well, they'll likely see each other and get to say "hi neighbor" one of the times they are each out at the mailboxes.

So, I'm not done with my "Elder Scrolls in the Sims" game (though as I said, I might go back to the first day of it to enjoy the full Story Progression stories) but the Appaloosa Plains game is for when I want a more simple set up, playing a household with just one Sim and her pets. I think it will be fun to gradually build this farm from the ground up.
The first step is this simple camp. Step Two is to build fences along the property lines. After that Gloria will start building the main house. And when she has time to relax she can sit back and enjoy the eye candy who lives across the road. ;)
