The last day of summer was a rainy one in New Ascadia, so everyone at Rosewood remained indoors. This didn't stop activity from happening elsewhere in the valley, giving Nerst much to report.
Master Neloth was livid after a perfectly fine Bonded Tapestry went haywire recently. "There is something suspicious about the whole thing, and I remember seeing that nerd Ashara Dagoth watching from across the street. I wonder if the two are somehow related."
(They are, Neloth. It's more than obvious that Ashara is out to get you for all the nonsense you've put her father and sister through. Not to mention the times that you jumped out of the shadows and punched Voryn in the face.)
"Oh, it's like a one-stop shopping mart. I can get everything I need and don't even have to order out," commented Tanor the Sleaze after being seen with a number of different dates recently.
(...They don't call him "the Sleaze" for nothing.)
And speaking of gigolos, Tanor the Sleaze was seen working his mojo on the local populace...mainly in the vicinity of Nona Greenvale. That is one smooth operator all right, smooth and slippery as an eel.
(Wait wait wait!...There are individuals who are PAYING to have sex with Tanor the Sleaze? I hope they have enough money left to go to the clinic afterward.)
Voryn Dagoth was heard remarking "Uh, thnaks? What's the catch," after being gifted the sum of $83 simoleons by Grandpa le Hex. "No catch. You just smelled of purple grasshoppers and tasted very ostrich, so I thought you deserved some spare change."
(Poor Voryn is looking more and more confused these days.)
Likes His Mead has been spreading the good word about the Robin and his giving ways. "He may prefer to stay anonymous, and I understand that, but I still want to thank him, whomever he is."

"Crime in this town is getting out of control!" exclaimed Larena Fernwood after she found her cash missing out of her pocket. A member of the local thuggery, Master Neloth, is suspected in the dealings, but no charges have been laid.
(So a future headline is that Thorinor, Neldor, and possibly Meldor are going to be beating Neloth up.)
"The Capital City Skyline (I believe that's the title of a painting) did not just get up and walk out the door on its own! Someone must have taken it," stated Amaryllis. "Not that I'm accusing Erandre Dence or his boss the Kingpin. I'm just saying that it's peculiar. And having to pay to get it back is just plain lunacy."
(Oh it's the Kingpin all right. He's recently gotten involved with stealing fine works of art.)
Saje Eldros found himself down a tidy sum of $3,253 simolons after a brazen robbery by the infamous Cat. Though her identity was successfully hidden by the shadows, everyone knows that Yanna was behind it.
(*points to what she said earlier about finding a way to send Child Services to Yanna's house* At least Yanna has been "fixed" so she can't have any more children to neglect.)
Finally, a story that Nerst almost sent out:
Nerst: "Yours truly was almost the victim of a brutal murder this afternoon when the mean and horribly spoiled Ragdoll cat known as Ivy Gold Willow attempted to drag me from my home and devour me!"
Aeronwen: *snatches the microphone away* "Oh she did not! Ivy was just sitting there watching you while you were in your exercise wheel. That's what cats do! You are perfectly safe from Holly and Ivy."
