The Molag Amur region is starting to seem safer than...expanded Pelagiad or whatever this place is called these days. Most of Nersts reports have been about who has been beaten up and who has checked themselves into the hospital.

Engaer found himself at odds with Rabinna after overhearing the Helsing commenting on how best to skin a wolf. The simple thought seemed to draw Engaer into a frenzy, and Rabinna only managed to avoid a potential throw-down by quickly leaving the scene.

(Sp Engaer has been charmed by Yanna and one of the she-werewolves. That poor sap.)

Verandis Ravenwatch is our savior! All hail the Dracul!" chanted Vemyn Dagoth after a recent encounter with the Dracul. It seems that the vampire has some rather impressive abilities for manipulating the minds of weak-willed townsfolk.

(This is one of those things that I didn't see coming but find that it not only works, it works well.)

Rabinna found herself in a tight spot after chasing local vampire Adusa into an alleyway. The Nosferatu had laid a trap for the vampire-hunter and quickly turned the tables on Rabinna. Though able to eventually escape, Rabinna's brutal assault has left a number of bruises that will no doubt take a while to heal.

(Rabinna, haven't you had enough close-calls in your life?)

Having seen the terrors of war, even our battle hardened reporter had trouble keeping down his dinner after seeing what was left of Basnik Oak Tender. The bits that were missing are probably in the stomachs of the local wolf pack, led tonight by one Usanda Moon Leaf. Grisly event. Hopefully though the Helsing was filling enough to sate the pack's hunger.

(Basnik? Again? You're lucky that you weren't killed the last time you tangled with a werewolf!)

Just to be safe Rabinna has checked herself into the local healing center, stating, "Rabinna was pretty bruised after that fight."

(So now we have Neloth, Crassius, and Rabinna in the hospital.)

After deciding that he was feeling pretty banged up, Basnik Oaj Tender has decided to check himself into the healing center to make sure nothing serious was broken.

Neldor had to give Basnik a call:

Neldor: "Basnik, what in Y'ffre's name do you think you're doing? Stop picking fights with the werewolves!"

Fiends! The demon inhabiting Gwendis Ravenwatch's shell of a body was out to play recently, toying with one of the Slayer's fold. She pounced on the hapless RiData and tossed him around for a couple of hours before growing bored and letting him go. "Catch you next time, cat!"

(And another citizen has been beaten to a pulp. The hospital staff better get another bed ready. And hire a pet-sitter for Rabinna's and RiData's kitten and puppy.)

"I want you to know, Sarasvati Aryon, that even though I have to suffer your presence, I don't hold it against you," remarked Yanna Swift Leaf. "Next time you want to have a hissy fit and smash up a living room chair, feel free to do it in your own home. All right?"

(Really, Sarasvati, you should of smashed up Yanna, not her poor innocent living room chair.)

In what was to become a pitiful attempt at a battle royale, Engaer beat up defenseless Endus Dagoth in an attempt to appease his wanton lover, a local unnamed tart. "I need to protect my love from vicious haters like Endus. It shows that my love is true."

(Was Endus aware of what was going on, or was he drunk and passed out on the floor of his bot workshop again?)

Endus Dagoth wasn't feeling very well after sustaining some injuries during a recent fight and has decided to head over to the healing center for a checkup.

(So now we have Neloth, Crassius, Rabinna, Basnik, possibly RiData, and now Endus in the hospital. If this keeps up there are going to be more townies in the hospital than there are outside.)

**Aeronwen and Neldor drive their wagon into town to sell the day's garden produce.**

Neldor: "Where is everyone? The streets are nearly empty."

Aeronwen: "It's like a ghost town."
