Due to how long it's been taking for my Moonlight Falls save to load (it's up to a little over twenty minutes), I have decided to shelve that game for now. I want to grab the households and put them in the library so I can move them to a fresh new world, but I'll likely do that tomorrow. Monday is when I do the vacuuming and dusting. Before getting started, I'll go into Sims 3, tell it to load the Moonlight Falls save, then get to work. The save should be loaded by the time I finish my household chores.
Meanwhile life continues for Arthur and Gwen in the Winchester Farming Community. Unable to keep from writing about their progress, I dusted off and cleaned out my
glorawen account. This journal was originally used to store my many ESO screenshots, but since I no longer play that game I decided to recycle the account. At first I was wishing there was an easy way to change the account name, but since Gloria is a human version of Aeronwen the name "Glorawen" sort of works.
The story in the
glorawen blog is not as structured as the one in
aeronwen and is not told in first person. Speaking of
aeronwen, I plan to resume that game some time this week now that I've settled back in after my trip to Yellowstone and have gotten caught up with the laundry and other chores. That game always takes a bit more time due to the structured fanfic and the posed screenshots that are involved. It's fun, but does involve more work along with the play.
So, there we are. In
glorawen Gloria will be born and live her life over, but in a smaller and less buggy world.

One idea I've been toying around with is to build a "student house" on one of the lots near the community college and place Gloria and the other young adults into that household so they can all attend the college and earn degrees together. So while they are all students I'll be able to control what the whole crew is doing and who they end up with.

Thanks LOL I'm 99% certain I can get those households. I just need to be doing something else while that save is loading. I run out of patience when I'm just sitting here.
Once again I think the fault is with that particular world. Dragon Valley never takes as long as Moonlight Falls in spite of the fact that I have emptied that world out, rebuilt the town from the ground up and populated it entirely with Elder Scrolls sims.
It's such a shame that MF isn't better optimized. It's such a beautiful world.

Not long ago I read that someone did, or tried to, but there were warnings not to use it because there were "ghosts" of deleted sims in it which caused game-breaking errors. It didn't sound like it was worth the risk.
